Gandarbal A 5 year’s old girl, was killed and her father was injured in a hit-and-run accident in lar area of Central Kashmir’s district Gandarbal, reports said.
Reports reaching said that a scooty rider namely Firdous Ahmad Magray son of Gh. Mohd Magray resisdent of Lar Gandarbal, was critically injured and her 5-years old daughter died on the spot after being hit by an unknown vehicle near lar area in Gandarbal today evening.
They said that the injured was rushed to nearest hospital for treatment, from where he was referred to SKIMS, hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment, adding that her daughter couldn’t survive the deadly accident and died on spot.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident, and have registered a case in this regard and a manhunt has been launched to nab the driver who fled away from the spot. (Kashmir Bulletin–KB)
