Baramulla: Vijay Diwas, which commemorates India’s victory over Pakistan in the 1971 War, was celebration at Wussan village of Kunzer in Baramulla district
It is the 50th anniversary of the victory and Swarnim Vijay Diwas was celebration in full grandeur by the locals.
In conjunction with nation wide celebrationd to commemorate the golden jubilee of victory in 1971 war Kunzer Army Camp carried out interaction and felicitation with war veterans of AOR. A total of three war veterans were felicitated and interacted with the locals at MTM college, Wussan.
The veterans shared stories of war time and remembered their comreds who fell in war alongside them The locals were facinated to hear their stories while the veterans expressed their gratitude towards the army for always remembering the service that they’ve put in for the nation
