Srinagar, parts of North Kashmir to face night long power outage as transmission line develops snag

Srinagar: Due to technical snag at the transmission level in one of the 150MVA transformer bank of 450 MVA Zainakote Grid Station, the power supply to several areas in Srinagar will remain affected tonight.
However, men and machinery of the JKPTCL of Kashmir is putting all efforts for speedy restoration of works.
The affected grid stations include Rawalpora, Wanganpora, Bemina, Zainakote, Pattan, and Magam, said a government spokesperson.
