Budgam Police arrested 03 timber smugglers and seized illicit timber swans alongwith the horses.
During naka checking at Balkhi Mohallah Pakherpora, police party of Police Post Pakherpora intercepted some persons carrying illicit timber swans laden on horses.The timber smugglers were arrested and horses seized along with swans of timber measuring 35.19 Cft. The arrested persons have been identified as 01.Showkat Ahmed Awaan son of Mohd Shafi Awaan. 02.Ghulam Mohi u din Parray Son of Abdul Ahad Parray residents of Chawan Keller. 03.Shabeer Ahamd Tedwa Son of Mohd Yaqoob Tedwa resident of Sangerwani
In this regard, case FIR number *118 / 2021* under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Charar-I-Sharief and investigation taken up.
