Srinagar Dec 30: Three militants including a Pakistani militant was killed on Wednesday evening in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
On a specific input about the presence of militants at Mirhama Kulgam, a joint team of security forces launched a cordon and search operation.
As security forces reached the suspected spot, they found the militants and fired upon them.
The militants were killed at Mirhama Kulgam during a brief exchange of fire, officials told Kashmir Review.
Inspector-General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar said the militants were affiliated with Jaish-e-Muhammad. One M4 and two AK 47 assault rifles were recovered from the militants, Kumar said.
