Baramulla: Government forces on Monday Evening launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Rather Mohalla of Karhama Kunzer In North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports reaching that Army’s 2 RR Rashtriya Rifles and Special operation group (SOG) Kunzer launched the operation in the village.
Police sources told Kashmir Review that the search operation was launched on the basis of specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
He said Door to Door search operation was initiated and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed.
